How to Find Farmers Markets

Where events are actually listed, and who to email.

Most markets never advertise for vendors. You find them by looking in four places.

City and county parks departments. Public markets are usually permitted through the city. Their events calendar is the real list.

Market association pages and Facebook Groups. Search your state plus "farmers market vendors". The organizers post open spots there first.

Walk the market you want to be in. Talk to the vendors. They will tell you who runs it, what the fee is, and whether it's worth the day.

Ask the organizer directly. A short email works: who you are, what you sell, that you carry insurance and a health permit, and which dates you want.

Keep a simple spreadsheet: event, date, fee, contact, attendance last year, and whether they allow another beverage vendor. That list becomes your season.
